Job Title: Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology
Join an outstanding team of Neonatologists and Neonatal Nurse Practitioners in Macon, Georgia, at a newly established Children s Hospital with a Level-III NICU. This Magnet Hospital for Nursing Excellence is the only dedicated pediatric facility in central and south Georgia, providing advanced neonatal care in a state-of-the-art environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality neonatal care in a 66-bed, state-of-the-art Level-III NICU.
- Work variable shifts, including 10-hour days Monday through Thursday and 8-hour shifts on weekends.
- Cover 16-hour night shifts four days per week with no call required.
- Deliver services such as high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide therapy, and brain cooling.
- Collaborate with readily available subspecialty support for comprehensive neonatal care.
- Attend clinical appointments at Mercer Medical School.
Qualifications:
- Master's Degree and/or Doctorate in Nursing.
- Board Certified NNP (Neonatal Nurse Practitioner); not accepting FNP, PNP, or other NP certifications.
- Minimum of 2 years of current experience as NNP (not including RN experience).
- GA license (or willingness to obtain).
- DEA certification (to be obtained prior to start).
License and Certification Requirements:
