Outpatient psychiatrist role with no regular call and potential for extra compensated on-call work. Board-certified/eligible Psychiatrist; outpatient employed position covering Charlotte & Raleigh, NC areas; permanent full-time, Mon–Fri 8am–5pm, no routine call; possible future 24-hour crisis program (optional on-call for additional pay). - Medical license to practice in NC - Psychiatrist (MD/DO), board-certified or eligible - Strong psychosocial and clinical assessment skills - Experience managing outpatient psychiatric caseload with minimal supervision - Excellent communication and emergency decision-making skills

Searching for a psychiatrist 30 minutes from Charlotte. Works with little to no supervision. Conforms to schedules, policies and procedures of employer. Must have strong psychosocial, clinical assessment skills. Minimal supervision regarding use of time, able to prioritize work assignments. Ability to communicate effectively with professions and clients/families. Ability to make sound decisions in emergency situations. Work schedule: Monday ? Friday; 8:00am ? 5:00pm with no call. All outpatient employed position. In near future, we will be adding a 24 hour program to assist clients in crisis. This could involve some on call work if doctor interested for additional compensation.
