Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in global propulsion systems, is seeking a Controls Engineer to join their dynamic team. As a Controls Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting manufacturing and control systems projects.

Location: Buffalo, NY
Pay Range: $45 - $47 per hour
PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU MUST BE OPEN TO WORK ANY SHIFT + 20% travel is expected (approx 6 times per year).
What's the Job?
- Engineer and design pneumatic piping diagrams to support manufacturing processes.
- Engineer and design electrical wiring diagrams for control systems.
- Design hydraulic piping diagrams to ensure efficient system operation.
- Create electrical control panels to meet project specifications.
- Develop programmable logic controller (PLC) software and human-machine interface (HMI) software for automation systems.
What's Needed?
- Associates Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience working on manufacturing plant floors with control systems.
- Proficiency with application of programmable machine controls hardware and software.
- Experience with AutoCAD and basic electrical standards.
- Ability to work onsite five days a week, with flexibility for occasional travel up to 20%.
