Job Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position with required call and a current KY or compact RN license.
Responsibilities
- Position is in the Cath Lab of a hospital setting
- Day shifts from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm
- On-call coverage is required
- 13-week contract assignment
- Role involves providing specialized care and assisting with cardiac catheterization procedures
- Collaboration with Cath Lab team is essential for maintaining patient safety and care quality
- Hospital requires compliance with COVID and flu vaccination protocols with no exceptions
- Candidates may need to work holidays if assigned
Requirements
- Active KY or compact RN license required
- Minimum of 2 years recent Cath Lab RN experience
- Current AHA certifications including BLS and ACLS must be provided and cannot expire within the start month
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required prior to start
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training required (can be completed onsite)
- Proof of full COVID-19 and flu vaccination required
- Candidates must not have any disciplinary hits on their nursing license
- Gaps in work history of 3 months or more require an explanation
- No local candidates (must live more than 50 miles from facility)
