What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials to help control entry to restricted areas within the location.
- Document and report any security-related incidents, unusual observations, or activities as required by site protocols.
- Collaborate with Allied Universal team members and local law enforcement as needed for incident response and investigations.
- Remain alert and prepared to respond to emergencies or security-related threats specific to an aerospace and defense environment.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
- An armed guard card or license is required.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Access control or badge experience is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
