Job Summary- Performs a variety of Computed Tomography procedures and duties under the direction of a qualified physician, technical specialist, and CT Operations Manager using prescribed levels of ionizing radiation. Performs all activities according to federal, state, local, and hospital policies and procedures to a variety of patients ranging from newborn to geriatric in age. Operates imaging equipment to produce quality diagnostic images of specified body parts. Able to insert and remove IV's.
- Education Graduated from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
- Experience • Minimum of 1-year Radiology experience- required
- Knowledge of the special needs and behaviors of adult and older adult patients preferred Licenses, Certifications, and/or Registrations (if applicable)
- Licensed by the State of Mass Radiation Control Board
- ARRT Registered- RT ( R) or RT (N)
- ARRT Registry in Computed Tomography- preferred o If no CT License at time of hire, Technologist has one year to obtain CT License
- CPR certified
