- 1020 beds in the department
- Assigned patient rounding
- Setting: Inpatient only
- Call Details:
- Call response time: 15 minutes
- Phone consults: Approximately 2 per day
- Call-back rate: 60%
- Specialty Skills Required:
- Arthroscopy
- Total joint replacement (hip and knee)
- Joint revision and repair
- Shoulder, hand, and tendon release/repair procedures
- Spine procedures (cervical, thoracic, lumbar)
- Board Certification: Required in Orthopaedic Surgery
- Fellowship training preferred but not mandatory
- Active medical license for Florida
- Minimum 30-day credentialing timeframe
- Strong support staff, including registered nurses, medical assistants, and advanced practice providers
