American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of recent CT and X-ray experience and ARRT and BLS certifications.
Responsibilities- Work in an acute care setting covering CT and Radiology, including ED, OR, PACU, inpatient, outpatient, and portable X-ray
- Patient populations served include emergency, surgical, and critical care units
- Uses GE Proteus X-ray, GE P500 X-ray/fluoro, Canon Aquilion SP CT, Medrad contrast injector, and PACS (Sectra)
- Charting is done using Epic Radiant EMR
- 3x12 hour shifts per week with rotation between day and overnight shifts; 60% overnight, 40% day shifts; 1 in 4 weekends
- Floating to OR, ER, portable X-ray, inpatient and outpatient areas as needed
- Responsibilities include performing X-rays and CT scans in a variety of clinical environments including the ED and OR
- Must be able to adapt to both day and night shifts as well as weekend rotations
- Gray scrubs required
- All prior employment with the health system must be disclosed and must have ended at least 6 months prior to consideration
- Candidates living within 80 miles may be considered but are subject to a local pay adjustment
- Current ARRT certification and BLS required
- Minnesota state license required if applicable
- Minimum of 1 year recent CT and X-ray experience
- ARRT CT certification preferred, or relevant CT experience
- Experience with Epic EMR preferred
- Ability to operate a variety of imaging equipment including portable and C-arm units
