Technologist - Histology - Per Diem

Per diem role with flexible scheduling at a major community health system. Histology Technologist (Per Diem); performs basic histology lab procedures and uses LIS; on-site in a Memorial Healthcare System facility in Florida; per diem/variable shifts; no contract length specified. - Minimum 1 year histology/lab experience - Ability to work with minimal supervision and under stress - Basic knowledge of laboratory instrumentation and information systems - Effective communication and critical thinking skills - Ability to relate to internal/external customers

Complexity of Work: Basic knowledge of laboratory procedures and instrumentation. Ability to effectively relate and communicate with internal and external customers. Basic knowledge of laboratory information systems. Requires critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Work Experience: Minimum one (1) year experience required.
