Opportunity:

Job Details:
• Work day shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
• Block scheduling is never promised or guaranteed
• Floating to other units required
• Scrub color requirement: Navy blue
• Work in 64-bed unit with 15 designated neuro beds
• Care for adult patients (18 years and older)
• Manage common diagnoses including neurological, cardiac, trauma, respiratory conditions (COPD), DKA, sepsis, MI, cardiovascular stepdown, and post-operative patients
• Operate specialty equipment including temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, and Neptune Vapo systems
• Work with chronic ventilators (unable to wean) with respiratory therapy assistance
• 2+ years of experience in IMCU/PCU required
• Travel experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Required certifications: Current AHA BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Active NY nursing license required with all RN licenses verified through NURSYS
• Local candidates accepted (less than 75 miles) with local rates applied
