A locum tenens opportunity is available for an Obstetrics Physician to provide call coverage at a hospital setting. The role involves 24-hour call coverage with no in-house requirement and includes up to four hours of daily rounding when necessary. The coverage dates include several specific dates from December through April. Physicians will provide key support for various obstetric procedures and emergencies without needing to be on-site except when called.

- Perform cesarean sections, circumcisions, and tubal ligations
- Collaborate with certified nurse midwives (CNM), emergency departments, and consulting physicians
- Address cases involving prior cesarean sections in labor seeking vaginal delivery
- Handle maternal transports from outside facilities
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Required certifications: ABLS, ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
- Preference for skills in managing both low and high-risk pregnancies, FHR interpretation, and performing OB ultrasounds
- No in-house requirement; call coverage is from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM
- On-site presence as needed for emergencies or patient rounds
- Proficiency in managing both routine and complicated deliveries, including VBACs, breech, and multiple births
- Experience in operative vaginal delivery and surgical gynecology, both laparoscopic and open
- Ability to perform and interpret OB ultrasounds and amniocentesis
- Capability to repair third and fourth-degree lacerations and conduct minor office gynecology procedures
