Locum - Physician - OB Hospitalist Worcester, MAJoin our esteemed medical team as a Locum OB Hospitalist and make a vital difference in patient care! This dynamic role offers an excellent opportunity to provide expert obstetric and gynecological coverage in a reputable hospital setting. As a key member of our clinical team, you will deliver high-quality care, support emergency GYN cases, and collaborate with multidisciplinary professionals to ensure optimal outcomes for mothers and babies.
Required Skills:- Medical Degree (MD or DO) with valid medical license in Massachusetts
- Board certification or eligibility in Obstetrics and Gynecology
- Proven experience in OB hospitalist duties or acute obstetric care
- Ability to handle emergency GYN cases with competence and confidence
- Familiarity with Level 2 NICU operations
- Proficiency with EMR systems such as PBAR and Cerner
- Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Nice to Have Skills:- Experience as a first assist in obstetric procedures
- Additional certifications such as NRP, ACLS, or BLS
- Prior experience working with midwives and MFM specialists
- Flexible scheduling for night and weekend shifts
Preferred Education and Experience:- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Minimum of 2 years of OB hospitalist experience or related obstetric care
- Previous experience working in hospital-based settings
Other Requirements:- Availability to start on December 31, 2025
- Willingness to work 12 or 24-hour shifts, including nights and weekends
- Candidates must maintain all relevant licensure, certifications, and compliance with hospital policies
- Travel reimbursement and other related expenses covered when applicable
