As a Security Officer - Operations Center - Clearence in Niskayuna, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Dispatch Officer with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a key role in monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:
- Monitor and coordinate communications between on-site personnel and external responders to support security-related operations within a manufacturing and industrial location.
- Dispatch security-related personnel in response to incidents, alarms, and/or emergencies as directed by site-specific procedures.
- Maintain detailed logs and records of all incoming communications, incidents, and dispatched activities to support site operations.
- Assist in the implementation of site-specific policies and procedures, providing guidance and information to staff and visitors as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following established protocols.
- Communicate with law enforcement, fire departments, and/or emergency medical services when required, relaying accurate information as necessary.
- Support Allied Universal team members by providing timely updates and instructions during security-related incidents or emergencies.
Minimum Requirements:
- A college degree is required.
- Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
- Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
- Applicants must have 5 years of industrial security-related experience or 2 years of military, law enforcement, emergency medical technician or fire department services experience.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
