Job Summary:-At the direction of a radiologist operates computed tomography (CT) and related equipment. -Performs CT studies according to specific guidelines, prescribed protocols and utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures. -Reviews images; archives with associated patient data. -Interacts with imaging personnel, nursing and medical staff, patients and visitors. -Performs other duties as assigned. Schedule Notes:Schedule is 7/70 Monday-Sunday, 1030am-9pmSkills: Required Skills & Experience:-Minimum of one year, full time equivalent, clinical experience in Diagnostic Radiology.Preferred Skills & Experience:-Previous CT experience.Education: Required Education:-Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program is required. Preferred Education:-1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare related field is preferred. Required Certifications & Licensure:-ARRT registered RT (R) in diagnostic radiology and current State of WI license as a Radiographer is required. -Advanced certification in CT required within 18 months of hire/transfer is required. -American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within three (3) months of hire.
