Opportunity:

Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 13-week contract with guaranteed 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and every other holiday schedule required
• Float to all inpatient units as needed, typically higher acuity units
• May be placed on call during low census periods with 2-hour minimum call back
• 4:1 patient ratio
• Care for patients with stable weaning vents/trach, sepsis, trauma, alcohol detox, GI bleed, colostomy/ileostomy, chest tubes, TBI, orthopedic trauma, spinal cord injury, and stroke
• Manage insulin drips and primary patients
• Must have Wisconsin RN license, BLS, and ACLS certifications
• Minimum 2+ years nursing experience required with stepdown/intermediate/PCU experience required
• ICU experience and Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Ventilator/trach experience required
• At least 1 prior travel experience required
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Must be outside 50-mile radius of facility
• Fast-paced unit requiring independent work and timely task completion
