This position is for a board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist responsible for providing direct inpatient and outpatient psychiatric care, developing treatment plans, and managing patient admissions and discharges. The role includes working primarily with psychiatric ward patients and operating a clinic for outpatient and residential care within a VA facility. The assignment requires patient care from Monday to Friday with on-call and weekend coverage, along with maintaining all necessary medical certifications and licenses.
