About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Electrical-Mechanical Specialist to join our Golf Ball Manufacturing Operations team. In this role, you will work independently to troubleshoot, maintain, and improve production equipment reliability. You’ll play a key part in preventative and predictive maintenance practices while collaborating with team members to achieve operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and rebuild complex electrical/electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic production equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance and ensure proper operational sequences to minimize downtime.
- Partner with Engineering to design, modify, and adapt equipment for project requirements.
- Test, calibrate, and repair electronic and electromechanical instruments to meet standards.
- Maintain accurate work records in a computerized maintenance system.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by Team Leader.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma required; vocational training preferred.
- Experience:
- Option 1: Completion of TPC educational requirements + 3 years in electrical maintenance.
- Option 2: Technical Associate Degree in Electrical/Electronic discipline + 3 years experience.
- Option 3: 7 years industrial experience in electrical trade (will complete TPC training for skill gaps).
Skills & Credentials
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Formal training in AC/DC circuits and PLC fundamentals.
- Working knowledge of mechanical systems, instrumentation, and controls.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and follow equipment specifications.
- Proficient in computer use and measuring devices.
- Familiarity with Lockout-Tagout and NFPA 70E safety standards.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
