Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or compact state eligibility
• Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a Med/Surg Telemetry or medical surgical telemetry unit
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities

Med/Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and clinical support staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
• Educate patients and families on care plans, health management, and post-discharge instructions
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and compliant environment for patients and healthcare staff
