The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) role involves providing anesthesia care across multiple hospitals in Eastern North Carolina with a full-time daytime schedule. The position requires board certification, relevant state licensure, and experience in diverse, high-acuity cases including trauma and neuro. The role offers exposure to various case types and uses advanced anesthesia equipment and EMR systems like Epic.
HPA Healthcare is seeking experienced CRNAs for a system float pool assignment across multiple facilities in Eastern North Carolina. This is a full-time role (4-5 shifts per week, no exceptions) with a consistent daytime schedule, exposure to diverse case types, and strong support across several hospitals.
Assignment HighlightsSchedule Options:
4 10s or 5 8s per week (unpaid 30-min lunch)
Shifts: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM or 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Must commit to 4-5 shifts per week for 4 consecutive weeks
Call (Optional):
12-hour call: $425 pay $500 bill
8-hour call: $240 pay $300 bill
Practice Settings:
Case Variety: General, ortho, vascular, urology, GYN, robotics, trauma, neuro, thoracic, ENT, bariatrics, endoscopy, IR, EP, MRI
Patient Age Range: Adolescents through geriatrics; some pediatrics
Support: Medically directed at some sites; medically supervised at others
EMR: Epic (all sites)
Equipment: Dräger anesthesia machines, Philips monitors
Board Certification: CRNA - required
State License: North Carolina - required (not open to licensing)
Certifications: ACLS & PALS - required
Experience: Minimum 1-2 years (no new graduates accepted)
Comfort with high-acuity settings including trauma, neuro, vascular, and complex general cases
