Job DescriptionThe LTAC/Telemetry Registered Nurse holds shift accountability for providing care to patients by utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and Hospital policy and procedures. The Registered Nurse demonstrates critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in the anticipation and planning for safe delivery of care; maintains clinical competencies through continuing education; delegates patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of the staff available; provides direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.
Responsibilities- Provide patient care utilizing the Nursing Process.
- Demonstrate critical thinking and scientific judgment.
- Delegate patient care priorities effectively.
- Supervise assigned personnel in delivering patient care.
- Two to five years of nursing experience required.
- Must have ACLS & BLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
- Experience with vent/trach, knowledge of central lines, and preferred wound care experience.
- Must possess an OH or multi-state compact RN license.
This position operates on a night shift schedule from 19:00 to 07:00.
