American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist experienced with Siemens equipment and radiopharmaceutical administration.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital-based Nuclear Medicine department
- Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM day shifts
- Perform various radionuclide studies using Siemens equipment
- Utilize Capintec Well Counters/Uptake Probe, Dose Calibrators, Xenon Pulmonex Ventilation System, and NMIS Dosing system
- Responsible for calculating, preparing, and administering radiopharmaceutical dosages
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate except in excluded areas
- Strong candidates preferred
- Dosimetry and dosing systems operation required
- Valid ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine
- CPR certification via AHA required
- Associates degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology required
- Maryland Board of Physician Quality Assurance required (license required if applicable)
- Minimum of 2 years experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Experience in a hospital with 500+ bed count preferred
- Experience with Siemens nuclear medicine equipment required
