Operating Room – Transplant (Liver, Heart, Lung, Kidney)

Next applicable orientation date (approximately 3–4 weeks from offer)
Experience Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
- Minimum 2 years of direct transplant OR RN experience
- Must have strong experience in:
- Liver transplant
- Heart transplant
- Lung transplant
- Kidney transplant
- Must have experience implanting organs into recipients (harvesting-only experience will not be accepted)
- Experience must be clearly documented on the skills checklist
Technical Skills (Required)
- Proficient in Misonix and CUSA
Certifications Required
- BLS (at time of submission)
- ACLS (at time of submission)
- NIHSS (must be obtained prior to start)
First-Time Travellers

On-Call Requirements
- 1 on-call shift per week
- Two (2) 12-hour weekend on-call shifts per month
Details to be discussed with the Nurse Manager during the interview.
Floating
- Clinician may float within scope of practice to meet facility needs.
