Responsibilities:
Senior Accountant
A desirable opportunity exists for a highly accomplished professional to handle all operational accounting tasks for the community leading up to and including the generation of monthly financial statements in accordance with Vi accounting policies and procedures. The selected candidate will work collaboratively with the Director of Accounting and other executive team members.

Qualifications:
This includes, but is not limited to:
* Prepares monthly reconciliations for designated balance sheet accounts.
* Assists with generation and preparation of accurate monthly financial statements and other operational accounting reports.
* Assists Director of Accounting and external auditors in annual financial audit.
* Supervises, reviews and approves the work of the accounting staff.
* Fills in for Director of Accounting in his/her absence.
Qualified applicants are required to possess 5 years of accounting experience with a background in financial statement preparation, including AP, AR, GL and Payroll. Proficiency with Excel spreadsheet software. Knowledge of JD Edwards a plus. Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Ability to work with a high level of detail, accuracy and confidentiality. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or 10 years of progressive experience is required.

Pay Range: USD $77,276.15 - USD $96,607.60 /Yr.
