Job Summary
- The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will provide quality health care and treatment to patients. Health care includes: health promotions; prevention of disease and disability; identification of health problems; management of health problems; and referral with communication to the patient's primary care provider. The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will practice medicine within the scope of their licensure and if applicable, under the Supervision of a Physician.
Requirements
- Graduation from a NLN accredited Nurse Practitioner program, MSN preferred. Certification by an approved organization according to the Maine State Board of Nursing. Current Maine State Licensure OR Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant's program. Certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Current Maine State Licensure.
- Requires current CPR and ACLS.
