As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, maintaining a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the assigned location and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities and identify potential issues.
• Maintain awareness of surroundings and report any suspicious behavior or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Support access control measures by verifying identification and monitoring entry points as required by site-specific policies.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports on incidents, observations, and activities during each shift.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary, following established protocols.
• Remain alert and prepared to address security-related situations specific to a government environment, including adherence to regulations and procedures related to armed patrol responsibilities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
