RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Patient ratio of 1:5 (estimated, not guaranteed)
• Work in a 26-bed telemetry unit (T4/634)
• Required certifications: ACLS and NIH preferred
• Work with equipment including lifts, wheelchairs, gait belts, and walkers/canes
• Handle typical procedures including TURPs, gastric bypass, joint replacement, post hysterectomy, and gallbladder/appendectomy cases
• Night shift staffing includes charge nurse, 3 RNs, and 2 patient care techs
• Must demonstrate outgoing personality and team-oriented approach
• Work in supportive environment where staff members support each other daily
• Leadership rounds daily on unit to ensure smooth operations
• Staff take advantage of scheduled lunch breaks with many dining options available
