Job DescriptionJoin our dynamic team in a fast-paced Medical Trauma Unit, providing care for patients in a medical surgical and telemetry setting. We are looking for compassionate and team-oriented Registered Nurses who excel in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality medical-surgical nursing care to a diverse patient population.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including blood products.
- Monitor patients using remote telemetry and perform health assessments.
- Manage complex wounds and care for tubes and drains, including NG, PEG, and chest tubes.
- Assist in pain management strategies and patient education.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Current RN license in the state of Virginia.
- BLS certification (Basic Life Support).
- Experience in medical surgical nursing is essential.
- Telemetry experience is preferred.
- Experience managing trauma and complex wound care is a plus.
