Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Emergency Department Registered Nurse who is available to start before Christmas. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency care and the ability to perform various nursing duties within a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the Emergency Department.
- Interpret and manage dysrhythmias and perform advanced life support protocols as necessary.
- Foster a collaborative environment with interdisciplinary support teams.
- Monitor and manage multiple patients effectively while maintaining appropriate patient ratios.
- 5 years of current Emergency Department experience preferred.
- New York State License in hand.
- Current certifications: BLS, PALS, NIHSS, ACLS, TNCC.
- Experience with EPIC charting system and telemetry.
- Ability to read rhythms and successfully complete required tests with >80% accuracy.
