The role involves managing 20-25 patients daily with a focus on clinical excellence, patient satisfaction, and collaborative care within a multidisciplinary team. The physician will work Monday to Friday with rotating on-call responsibilities, utilizing on-site lab, imaging, and therapy services to support patient care.

Locum Tenens Opportunity near Elizabethtown, IN We are currently seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Family Medicine physician to join our established practice near Elizabethtown, IN. This locum tenens position offers a unique opportunity for a dedicated physician to become part of a busy practice comprised of four physicians and two advanced practice providers. Our team thrives in a supportive work environment that prioritizes an optimal work-life balance. What We Need: Clinical Excellence and Patient Satisfaction: The ideal candidate will possess a strong focus on clinical excellence and prioritize patient satisfaction. Exceptional interpersonal skills are crucial, along with a genuine desire to develop robust ties with the local community and establish enduring relationships with patients. Collaborative work with existing medical staff is essential to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. Weekday call is rotated among physicians on a 1:7 basis. Weekend call rotation is 1:14. Patient Volume and Scope: Manage an average outpatient volume of 20 - 25 patients per day, ensuring personalized and attentive care. No inpatient work or OB responsibilities. Common diagnoses include diabetes, hypertension, COPD, and wellness visits. On-site Facilities and Services: Utilize on-site lab and imaging services to enhance the efficiency of diagnostic processes. Benefit from the convenience of sports medicine services located in the same building. Outpatient physical therapy services are readily available.
