The Nephrology Physician provides outpatient and inpatient care specializing in chronic kidney disease, acute kidney injury, hypertension, and end-stage renal disease management. Responsibilities include dialysis rounding, care coordination, and documentation within EPIC systems, working collaboratively with hospitals and dialysis units. The role requires an MD/DO with board certification in nephrology and a California medical license, with preferred experience in dialysis and kidney disease management.
Schedule:
- Weekday clinic hours (8 am 5 pm)
- Dialysis rounding as assigned
- Call rotation depending on availability
Key Responsibilities:
- Outpatient clinic: CKD, AKI, HTN, ESRD management
- Dialysis rounding & care coordination
- Occasional inpatient consults (shared rotation)
- Documentation in EPIC
- Collaborative care with local hospitals & dialysis units
Requirements:
- MD/DO, Board-Certified in Nephrology
- California license
- Dialysis & CKD/ESRD management experience preferred
