Job DescriptionJoin our dedicated team as a Registered Nurse (RN) and be at the forefront of coordinating exceptional patient care for adult and pediatric patients. Your expertise will support comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care in a dynamic general Med/Surg unit. Collaborate with a talented group of professionals to meet the unique needs of our diverse patient population while utilizing the innovative Nursing Process to make critical decisions. We prioritize holistic care, addressing patients' age, physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs with compassion and proficiency.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and pediatric patients.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Utilize the Nursing Process to make critical decisions regarding patient care.
- Ensure that holistic care standards are met for all patients.
- Work collaboratively with the Unit Director and Clinical Nurse Lead during shifts.
- Minimum three years of acute care experience required.
- Experience with Meditech preferred.
- Current Vermont RN or multi-state RN licensure.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
