Responsibilities and Duties- Provide expertise in blood bank and transfusion medicine
- Ensure compliance with laboratory protocols and safety standards
- Oversee and interpret laboratory testing related to blood banking
- Collaborate with clinical teams regarding transfusion practices and protocols
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of laboratory findings
- Support continuous quality improvement initiatives in the laboratory
Additional Information- Must be board certified in blood banking/transfusion medicine
- Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience required
- Active North Carolina medical license required
