What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering and exiting the location.
- Remain alert and observant while on patrol to identify and report any unusual activity or potential threats.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.
- Assist law enforcement and emergency responders as needed during incidents or emergencies.
- Follow all company protocols and procedures as outlined by Allied Universal and the client site.
- Operate security-related equipment and communication devices as required for the post.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while representing Allied Universal on site.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid concealed carry weapons permit is required.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Handcuffing certification is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
