Schedule: Monday Friday, weekdays only (no evenings, weekends, or holidays)
Hours per Week: 40
Duration: Minimum 6 months with possibility of permanent hire.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with intra- and interdepartmental staff to administer patient treatment following nationally recognized standards.
• Conduct patient exams, write evaluations, and complete medical reports.
• Order, interpret, and act upon diagnostic testing results.
• Manage medication regimens for patients.
• Complete inmate medical reclassification and other required reviews.
• Make referrals for specialized care or treatment as necessary.
• Participate in Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) activities, including peer reviews.
• Engage in collaborative agreements when applicable.
• Manage a caseload of up to 2.5 patients per hour.
Qualifications/Requirement:
• Active Ohio Medical License.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine, or Emergency Medicine.
• Experience in primary care.
• Master s degree (MD or DO).
• Active BLS certification.
• DEA Certification.
