Associate, Employment Litigation – San Diego, CA

Associate, Employment Litigation Benefits & Compensation

Associate, Employment Litigation Requirements & Qualifications


  • Active California Bar admission
  • 4–7 years of litigation experience
  • Strong writing and analytical skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple matters independently and collaboratively


Associate, Employment Litigation Preferred Background & Skills


  • Employment litigation experience (e.g., discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination)
  • Familiarity with class action defense or PAGA matters
  • Experience in both state and federal courts, including arbitration
  • Excellent academic credentials


Associate, Employment Litigation Day-to-Day Responsibilities


  • Draft and respond to pleadings and discovery in employment law cases
  • Prepare and argue motions in state and federal court, as well as in arbitration
  • Take and defend depositions related to employment disputes
  • Advise and support clients on a broad range of employment issues
  • Collaborate with firm attorneys to develop and execute case strategy
