We are seeking a skilled Neurologist for a locum tenens opportunity near Rocky Ford, Colorado. Position Overview:

• Position Type: Locum Tenens, Physician - Neurology
• Location: Near Rocky Ford, Colorado
• Shift Type: 24-hour on-call coverage
• Duration: Open for submissions, start and end dates flexible based on provider availability
• On Call: Yes, including weekend requirements
• Weekend Coverage: Required as part of the 24-hour on-call rotation

Responsibilities:

• Provide primary inpatient neurology coverage with a focus on adult patient care
• Be available for 24-hour call coverage during assigned weekdays and weekends
• Work collaboratively with a team, including other neurologists who will be present on-site
• Perform EEG procedures as needed, in a facility equipped with on-site lab and X-ray services
• Maintain high standards of care, supporting the hospitals goal of improving patient outcomes and reducing readmissions

Qualifications:

• Board Certification in Neurology: Required
• Licensing: Active Colorado medical license or an Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC) license required
• Experience: Previous inpatient neurology experience preferred

Compensation and Benefits:

• Rate Type: On-call daily rate with additional holiday call rates as applicable
• Travel Reimbursement:
  • Flights: round-trip cap
  • Lodging: Reimbursed per night with receipt
  • Car Rental: Reimbursed for economy car cap, with mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rate
• Additional: Support provided for onboarding, including malpractice documentation and background verification
