Job Details:
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend requirement
• Every third holiday requirement
• Patient ratios of 1:4-5
• Care for adults and geriatrics with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, diabetes, and continuous EEG monitoring conditions
• Required to titrate drips including Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications
• Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed
• No call or standby requirements
• Must pass open book exam on Friday during orientation with 90% score to continue
• First week onboarding followed by 1-2 days floor orientation
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Must be outside 50-mile radius and cannot be employed with CommonSpirit facilities
• Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove results in contract termination
• Driver's license required at submittal
• Epic charting system
• BSN not required
• Fast-paced environment requiring positive attitude, communication skills, and critical thinking abilities

This acute care healthcare facility operates a 35-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Stepdown department providing specialized care for patients requiring intermediate-level monitoring and treatment. The facility maintains Level 2 trauma designation and utilizes Epic electronic health record system.
