RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement
• Patient ratios of 2:1 or 3:1 in a 10-bed intensive care unit
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience required
• Hospital setting experience mandatory
• Must have Kentucky nursing license or compact license at submission
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and current NIH (must be certified annually)
• Float to PCU, 3rd floor, or ED as needed
• Work with Philips telemetry, Baxter pumps, iMobile, ventilators, and glucometers
• Document using Meditech Expanse system
• Provide care including CPap/BiPap management, port access, therapeutic phlebotomy
• Advanced skills preferred: chest tubes, NG tubes, wound vac, drains, post-dialysis assessment, central lines, blood transfusion, ventilators
• Perform telemetry monitoring, paracentesis assistance, BiPap, therapeutic phlebotomy
• Dress code: Navy or gray scrubs required
• Work alongside Clinical Nurse Coordinators, RNs, PCTs, and Nurse Externs
• Utilize GroupMe for team communication and collaboration
