Opportunity:

RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Call required: 9 to 10 days per month
• Weekend coverage required with two call shifts per contract
• 40 hours of orientation provided
• Provide direct patient care, medications, and sterilization techniques in the Cardiac Catheterization Lab
• Act as patient advocate while assisting physicians with cardiovascular studies/interventions and special procedure studies/interventions
• Work with adult patient population
• Handle approximately 11 visits per day in 3-room unit
• Patient diagnoses include all heart/vascular/structural/interventional radiology cases
• Special procedures include vascular diagnostic and interventional, radiology diagnostic and interventional, cardiac diagnostic and interventional, and structural heart procedures
• Work with specialized equipment including MacLab, Impella, Penumbra, Laser, Rotoblade, CSI, Hybrid, Pacemaker, and moderate sedation equipment
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS
• ADN with current Arkansas license in good standing or Compact State license required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• BSN or MSN preferred
• Travel experience highly preferred
• Cerner charting system experience preferred
• Position is safety sensitive in accordance with Arkansas Act 593
