The physician associate will provide comprehensive outpatient hematology and oncology care managing 16 patients daily across 9 half-days per week with one administrative half-day for care coordination. Responsibilities include conducting thorough patient evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans for hematologic and oncologic conditions, and managing 0-2 new consultations weekly in 30-minute appointment slots. The position requires board certification in Hematology/Oncology with prescriptive authority and no call coverage responsibilities, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Documentation requirements include utilization of Epic EMR system for all patient records and treatment planning activities to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
