A respected regional health network in northwest Iowa is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Electrophysiologist to provide full-time locum coverage.

This high-paying assignment offers a balanced clinic and procedural schedule, excellent pay structure, and up to 20 shifts per month. You ll work in a supportive, technology-driven environment dedicated to quality care and physician collaboration.

• Schedule: Monday Friday 8 AM 5 PM (20 shifts/month)

• Procedure/OR Days: 2 3 per week

• Weekend Coverage: As needed (shared call rotation)

• Call Coverage: Shared with 3 interventional cardiologists

• Inpatient Responsibilities: Yes

• Telehealth: Available

• Supervises: 5 APPs

• Team: 3 Physicians 5 APPs 2:1 Support Staff Ratio

• Clinic Volume: patients/day

• Hospital Census: cardiology patients/day

• EMR: Cerner Powerchart

Hourly Rate: $471/hr
Overtime: $528/hr
Night Call: $518/hr
24-Hour On Call: $3,543/day
Malpractice Insurance: Included
Travel & Lodging: Fully covered

• EP studies and ablations (AFib, flutter, SVT, PVC, VT)

• Pacemaker, ICD, temporary pacer, and loop recorder insertions

• Generator changes, TEEs, and cardioversions

• Device monitoring, transmissions, and reprogramming (in-clinic & remote)

• General cardiology call coverage and APP supervision

Board Certified or Board Eligible in Electrophysiology
Fellowship Trained in Electrophysiology
Iowa Medical License or active IMLC LOQ
Clean malpractice history
Full-time availability (minimum 1 week per month)
