We’re looking for an incoming Sophomore, Junior, or Senior Intern candidates focused in an Engineering degree program for electrical or computer, or software engineering specializations. Summary:

The Securitas Technology Team is currently seeking a motivated student for an internship that will participate in the organization’s Corrections division in the design, wiring, and commissioning operations with major active clients. This is a paid summer internship for 8 - 10 weeks.

Job Functions:

Conduct a variety of general administrative tasks as assigned
Shadow Securitas engineers and project managers supporting correction customer projects for jails and prison system customers
Prepare reports and other information for departmental use
Develop executive summaries on major projects or activities as assigned
Performs other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED required
Current student pursing a degree Engineering focused degree in electrical, computer, or software engineering specializations
AutoCAD is a plus
Lives in Indianapolis area and willing to work on site at a Securitas office
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (specifically Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint) is required
Must be detail-orientated, organized, and able to work independently
High level of written and oral communication
Demonstrate strong ability to handle confidential/private information
Prior internship experience a plus
Open to occasional travel between customer sites and local office
