General Surgery Locum Tenens 10 Days/Month Call North Dakota (IMLC Welcome)

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible General Surgeon for a locum tenens call coverage opportunity in North Dakota starting September 2025. This role is ideal for physicians looking for a flexible schedule with predictable call volume and excellent support.

• Schedule: 10 days per month of 24-hour call coverage (flexible scheduling)

• Start Date: September 2025 Ongoing

• Trauma Level: IV

• Call Response Time: 20 minutes

• Daily Patient Volume: 0 5 General Surgery patients per 24 hours

• Credentialing: 30 days; temp privileges available

• Payor Enrollment: Required

• Phone consults, admissions, rounding (General Surgery only)

• Emergent surgery coverage 24/7 (elective surgeries scheduled Mon Fri)

• No clinic or APP supervision required

• Anesthesia coverage by CRNA group

• Abdominal Surgery

• Endoscopy

• Gallbladders, Appendectomy, Colon, Laparoscopy

• Stomach, Liver, Spleen

• Pediatrics, Vascular, Thyroid, Pulmonary

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (within 3 years of US residency)

• Active ND license or IMLC (in-process OK)

• ACLS and ND DEA required

• Clean malpractice history preferred
