The Gastroenterology Physician role is an inpatient position focused on performing standard GI procedures such as endoscopies, colonoscopies, and ERCPs. The physician will manage up to 10 patients daily, rounding on cases involving abdominal pain, GI bleeding, and other gastrointestinal conditions. Support includes trained nursing staff and anesthesia backup, with hospitalists handling admissions.
