Role Overview

This Med/Surg RN position supports a 19-bed unit caring for patients across the lifespan, from pediatric to geriatric. The RN will be responsible for delivering comprehensive patient care, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and ensuring optimal outcomes through evidence-based practice.

Blended Roles and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing evaluations
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition
• Provide patient and family education and discharge planning
• Document all care activities in EPIC EMR system
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Delegate tasks appropriately to support staff
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to clinical protocols

Qualifications

• 3+ years current Med/Surg experience (REQUIRED)
• Previous travel experience (minimum 6 months REQUIRED)
• EPIC experience REQUIRED
• Telemetry/Progressive Care experience preferred
• Must have own transportation
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills

Certifications & Licensure

• Active New Hampshire RN License or Compact License (REQUIRED at submission)
• BLS (AHA) – REQUIRED
• ACLS (AHA) – REQUIRED
