The Family Practice Physician provides comprehensive outpatient primary and secondary care in a tribal health clinic while collaborating with healthcare staff and assuming medical leadership roles. Bad River Health & Wellness Center Full Time Hours: M-F; 8am to 4:30pm Employed Average Patients seen: 8-12 Loan Repayment Sign-On Bonus Compensation: $250,000+ base salary depending on experience. Benefits: - Loan forgiveness: IHS + HRSA- Leave: 19 paid holidays, 24 hrs personal leave, 8 hrs/month annual & sick leave- Health: FEHB (Tribe pays 90%), Vision (Anthem), Dental (Delta Dental WI)- Life/AD&D: 2x base salary (up to $200K), starts after 30 days- Retirement: Primerica payroll-deducted plans (after 90 days)- Support: EAP (6 free sessions), Workers Comp self-funded Additional Info: The Family Practice Physician (FPP) will provide comprehensive outpatient care to the Bad River community while also serving as a leader within the clinic. This role includes collaborating with other providers and staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, and stepping into Medical Director responsibilities when needed. The FPP also acts as a consultant to clinic leadership and Tribal Council while fostering teamwork, professionalism, and effective communication.Key Responsibilities:- Deliver primary & secondary outpatient care- Collaborate with physicians, FNPs, and health staff- Supervise RN, FNP, Lab Tech, Pharmacist & Medical Assistant- Consult with Clinic leadership, Health Board & Tribal Council- Assume Medical Director duties in their absence- Coordinate with AODA & Behavioral Health programs- Promote professionalism, teamwork & positive clinic representation
