ICU RN Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license – Illinois or compact state
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU or Critical Care RN experience, including CCU patient care
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required
• Experience in a mid-to-large hospital or acute care setting
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility (permanent address)

ICU RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU/CCU
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members
• Administer medications and manage advanced life support equipment
• Maintain compliance with hospital and healthcare policies and procedures
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while ensuring safety and comfort
