HCA Florida Ocala Health System offers an opportunity for a Cerebrovascular Neurosurgeon to join the region s leading neuroscience program.
Qualified Candidates:- Board certified / board eligible by the ABNS in Neurosurgery
- Non-trauma Neurosurgery with Cerebrovascular focus. The position offers both robust stroke exposure as well as the opportunity to create an elective vascular practice, including complex vascular pathology such as aneurysms, AVMs, cavernous malformations, carotids and direct / indirect bypass.
- Vascular case volumes at HCA Florida Ocala Hospital are competitive with regional academic medical centers, providing an opportunity for open and endovascular cases.
- Ability to build an elective practice located in a 10,000 square foot office close to the hospital
- Offsite EMR and imaging database access from home, office and hospital
- Hospital is a tertiary center with transfers from multiple outside hospitals in other counties.
- The incoming physician has the ability to work with residents and academic research through the University of Central Florida.
