Facility in Wellsboro, PA seeking Peds Hospitalist locums coverageRate: $2500-3000/24 hour shift (all inclusive) depending on the experience and availability. Travel/Lodging will be covered separately.Opportunity Highlights
- Consistent Schedule: We are looking for a provider to cover 1-2 weeks per month, with a focus on 24-hour pediatric call shifts (7 AM - 7 AM).
- Urgent Need: There is an immediate need for coverage from September 17th to September 21st (ending on the morning of September 22nd).
- Specialized Role: The call is limited to the healthy newborn nursery only. The hospital is licensed for 5 inpatient couplet-care rooms. Pediatricians attend C-sections, but OBs perform circumcisions.
- Low Volume: The facility has approximately 30 deliveries per month. You can expect an average of 2 newborn admissions while on call, with a range of 0-3.
- EMR System: The facility uses Cerner for all charting.
- Quick Privileging: The estimated time to secure full or temporary privileges is 30 days.
- Provide 24-hour pediatric call coverage.
- Be available for telephone or in-person response with a 30-minute response time.
- Attend C-sections as needed.
- Manage newborn admissions.
- Note: There are no inpatient pediatrics to manage.
- Education: MD or DO.
- Board Status: Board-Certified or Board-Eligible.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Licensure: An active Pennsylvania State License is required to apply.
- Certifications: NALS and PALS, and DEA are required.
- The target start date is September 15, 2025, with an immediate need for coverage from September 17th to September 21st.
