This position is for a Board Eligible Anesthesiology Physician at a Level 3 trauma and pediatrics medical center in Dothan, Alabama. The physician will deliver general, spinal, and regional anesthesia to adult, pediatric, neonatal, trauma, obstetrical, neurosurgical, thoracic, vascular, and orthopedic patients with on-call weekend responsibilities. Required credentials include an active Alabama medical license and ACLS certification, with a competitive hourly rate and malpractice coverage provided.

Job Details:
• Schedule includes shifts from (3 days) and OB call
• OB experience not required but considered a plus
• On-call responsibilities including weekends and holidays
• Provider must be located at least 90+ miles from the facility
• Perform general anesthesia for adult, pediatric, neonatal, and trauma patients
• Administer spinal anesthesia and regional anesthesia for various surgical procedures
• Handle obstetrical, neurosurgical (head and spine), thoracic, and complex vascular cases
• Manage complex orthopedic cases and provide ventilation management
• Conduct evaluation and management of acute volume/BP issues
• Place arterial lines as required (central line and PA catheter placement preferred)
• Credentialing timeframe is approximately 90-120 days
• Active Alabama medical license required (no IMLC accepted)
• ACLS certification required
• Provider must be contracted with the agency prior to placing a bid
• Must submit credentialing documents within 7 days of bid acceptance
